The well-maintained bits of the site are used for conferences and retreats. Beautiful gardens!

Wednesday, 4 March

Armstrong Redwoods State National Reserve
Huge flooded sections
I got here in the very early morning and never saw a soul. So quiet and even reverent.
And some really big trees 🙂
Austin Creek State Recreation Area
Incredible place to meditate
and study
Twas a bit chilly however 🙂
Back through Armstrong Redwoods on the way out
Back to the coast!
Salt Point State Park
Kruse Rhododendron State Park
Gorgeous hike even though the rhododendrons aren’t currently blooming…
Schooner Gulch State Beach
It’s incredible how life thrives even in salty and windy conditions
