TEO Goblin Valley

31 May. Great hiking through the goblins.

Here’s the view we got when we finally found our way around the big cliff on the far side of the valley.

We only stayed one night. The campground was really bare and windy. We didn’t put up a tent but just slept on the cot and the hammock under the pavilion. We had no cell service at all so we played Dimension and Perplexus, listened to music, and went hiking around the cliffs surrounding the campground.  For future reference, campsite 12 is the one secluded back among the cliffs. We have it up too a nice family from Belgium but regretted it when we were surrounded by noisy families.

29-30 May

Camping with 2 is the best. 🙂

We enjoyed it more than this shows. 🙂

We had a great campsite. Besides the dorky tall fire ring that wouldn’t roast marshmallows until we build the fire on top of the grate.

Took an early morning hike while teo slept. Hammocks are awesome.

I love these sunglasses!  Teo had fun with shooting photos through them.

Nice one Teo!  Looks like a promotional poster for a western. 🙂

We did some hiking together. Slot canyon on the Cohab Canyon hike.

These two were Teo’s photos from the Hickman Bridge hike.

On the second day we did a scenic drive…some with the top down.

We did get out and hike though Grand Wash so that Teo could recreate a photo from a few years ago.
