Camped at an RV park in Hainesā¦ woke up with the sunWith the most astounding bed hair šNeeded to kill some time before the ferry, so I drove toward Chilkoot Lake. Bunches of people were pulled over at the side of the road, so I stopped and hereās what I saw!Caught some bodily functions Bye!Chilkoot lakeā¦I did an amazing job of keeping all of the people, canoes, dock, and fishing out of the photoDriving back along the chilkoot river. Stopped where cars were parked and people with cameras wereā¦Spotted this guy!Caught a fish!Still had a bit of time so I sat on a big rock and enjoyedā¦ā¦this view!
Went to the very terminal and it turns out they were sold out! Sad face. So I had to drive on our way through Canada to get to Skagway.
Stopped on Whitehorse to do a little shopping. Dollarama had the best prices on the candy I need to buy my nieces and nephews. This museum is closed for the season but I got a shot of the steamboat that was used during the gold rush. Stopped at kookatsoon lake for dinner. Beautiful Emerald LakeMoon Lake
The drive into Skagway was nerve wracking. There was a marathon along the road and I had to be super careful with pedestrians and support cars. It was also dark so that didnāt help. looking forward to enjoying the scenery on the way back out š
Garden City RV park tent site in Skagway (taken Saturday morning). I checked in late and wasnāt given the bathroom code, so I used the menās room since that door wasnāt locked haha
